Czero Reducing Viral Infections is Iron Design Award winner Sophia Neill’s Czero Reducing Viral Infections design is Iron Design Award winner in 2020 – 2021 Wearable Technologies Design Award Category. Czero is a wearable device that vibrates when the users hand is near their face, reminding them not to touch it, reducing transmission of contagious infections notably. Read more about it here. Her project was part of an interaction design paper, lead by Edgar Rodriguez, where students were asked to design a new interaction. Sophia chose to focus her project around the Covid 19 pandemic and how we prevent the spread of this virus and other viruses in the future by influencing how we interact with ourselves.
