Smart Furniture

We experiment with furniture and lighting through designs that offer unusual and unexpected interactions. For instance, we challenge the expectation of having an on/off button in lighting design, and instead design tangible interactions that offer a sense of aesthetics through the physicality and the interaction the design offers. Our designs of furniture and lighting offer more complex conversations between the person and the object through tangible and/or digital responses to human and environmental data. The results are unexpected, surprising, and delightful tangible interactions.
