Smart Fit

Our human bodies involve some of the most complex three-dimensional forms, particularly as we move and dynamic forces change our morphology. However, many of the items we wear in everyday life or as medical equipment are based on outdated and simplistic measuring systems that ignore the complexity of our bodies.

We investigate how digital technologies may help us develop a better fit in a range of items, from shoes and bras to splints and other medical equipment. The better fit also opens up opportunities to offer exciting interactions and new aesthetic forms of expression.
